Hi, John, thanks a lot for coming on the podcast.

Thank you for inviting me, Simon.

So the book's called What I Saw, Near Death Experiences.

So could you tell us what inspired you to write this book on near death experiences?

Well, my inspiration came, actually started probably decades ago.

When Dr. Raymond Moody came out with his book Life After Life in 1975,

I was fascinated with the book.

And so over the decades, I've been thinking about writing about individuals.

I never experienced it, but I always want to write about

other people's experiences. And so I think my book that I put together has one of the largest

collections. It has 40 individuals and their perspective and what they saw. And I just wanted other people to learn about it. I mean,

especially the younger people. I think more young people are interested in it than the older

generation. But those that are approaching death themselves, whether it's in hospice care

or a disease or whatever, they, I think they're drawn to it too

because it gives them some comfort. So that's one reason I was interested in writing this book.
