1:19.5	50 years ago, I was in my 20s. I was right out of school. I was a pastor of a small little church up in New England,
1:31.6	and I knew everything. I was just like so many of us in our 20s where we thought we had
1:40.2	all the answers and we felt we had to fake it at least because after all we were given these
1:45.7	positions of responsibility and all and so I decided I needed to project this whole idea
1:55.3	that I was competent and all that kind of stuff and my even, even my, my theology at the time, my, I was a Christian, a conservative Christian at the time. And things have changed a great deal since then, but I look back on those times and I was absolutely convinced, like most modern type people were back then that consciousness arose out of
2:23.3	chemical reactions and electrical actions in the brain and that somehow when we when we died our brains

2:35.0	impulses would fool us giving us visions and all this kind of thing and in other words
