This is an Our Paranormal Afterlife remastered episode, and I'm your host, Simon Bown.

I've recently gone back and listened to some of the older episodes,

0:22.3

and I was reminded just how much valuable, relevant insight they still offer. So I'm going to be

0:27.5

re-releasing one episode each week, now with updated and remastered audio for a much better listening

0:34.3

experience. In this episode, I'm talking to Dr. Alan Huguenot about his

1:31.5

The motorcycle wreck was in May of 1970, and so it's been quite a while now, about 48 years.

1:39.6

And at that time, the official position on having that kind of experience was that you're delusional.

1:49.1

There was no such thing as near-death experiences because Raymond Moody didn't publish his book until 1975, and that was 1970.

1:57.2

So they wanted to tell me I was crazy and put me in the nut house.

2:01.1

But today, people want to talk to me like you do.
