Hello you and welcome to you are good a feelings podcast about movies. Today we are talking

about near dark. I'm one of your co-host Alex Steed and will soon be joined by my

marvelous co-host Sarah Marshall and again we're

talk about this Catherine Bigelow Classic. You are good if you are new to this

here podcast. This is a show where we talk about movies. We talk about

the way those movies make us think about the world. It makes us think about how we

relate to and with other people, how we relate to and with being a human, a human being. We're not necessarily

critics. We do talk about movies critically here and there though, but that's

not the whole thing. We're talking about

feelings. Near Dark is a 1987 American Neo-Western horror film, co-written and directed by

Catherine Bigelow in her solo directorial debut.

It stars Adrian Pas, Jenny Wright, Bill Paxton, Lance Hendrickson, and Jeanette Goldstein.

The plot follows a young man in a small Oklahoma town who becomes involved with a family of nomadic vampires.

This is a special episode because we have some music by our great friends Magpie Cinema Club.
