All right, so nice long weekend, a lot of action.

Nothing ever lives up to the hype.

We know this.

Rarely ever does anything live down to the hype.

We know that.

For instance, I was expecting nothing less this weekend from the association.

Well, less than nothing.

I was expecting the worst.

But somehow, what we got was even worse than the worst.

Even by Commissioner Ears standards, that was a clown show of an All-Star

weekend. You see, apparently calling a meeting with the players and the players association

right before the game was not the solution to making this nonsense watchable. And come to find out,

they actually did a lot more planning than that. And it still

didn't make it watchable. It's almost like the players for that meeting, they must have gotten

the exact opposite message. The takeaway must have been, hey, you know what you can do? What you do

is deliver the most unwatchable thing and the most painful thing imaginable.

When the assignment was actually, hey, step your game up.

Showcase the product.

Showcase the best of what the game has to offer.

Is that not the whole point of an all-star game? The entire point of an all-star game is to showcase the very best of your product,
