United States Navy, the first line of defense in a hostile planet.

Right now, the U.S. Navy knows that it needs more ships,

and Mr. Trump is in place saying we need more ships.

How many is debatable.

But looking at the way the Navy acquires new ships is important. In general, the arsenal of democracy does no longer exist.

In general, the understanding is the industrial base needs to be rebuilt before the Navy, the army,

the Air Force. everybody can get what they

need in order to deal with the threats in the 21st century, chiefly the People's Republic of

China. I welcome Tom Maudelae, former under an acting secretary of the Navy, who can help me

understand how the Navy in in particular, is going to grow into the

combat force necessary to anticipate trouble in the 21st century.

One particular program is the illustration.

It's called the Constellation Class.

and it's the first of its line,
