I'm going to be learning a lot I feel like in this episode because we have a wonderful guest who knows everything about perfumery and can really tell us about things that I think for me I have a lot of questions you know when it comes to fragrances

flavoring anything that has to do with that side of this industry I'm always lost so I know a lot of you

chime in ask us questions and hopefully we can get some answers here so without further

ado I want to introduce you guys to Darrell Dew who is a perfumer at Del B Adieu which is a manufacturing company for

fragrances and flavors. I've been around since 1968 so there's a real deal and I'm really

excited to host you Darrell. Thank you so much for coming on the show.

Yeah, no, it's really a pleasure and an honor to be able to host people that I can really ask questions and kind of you know pick your brain a little bit right about something I don't know much about so I would love to do that down the road but I'd love to get started if you could tell us a little bit about yourself and what got you into you know this area of beauty and just the fragrance industry at large.

So as you mentioned we are here since, but that's what was founded by my father.

So he was a perfumer and a flavorist that different companies in the industry and then he started his own company in 68 and my mother

joined him in this endeavor and her name is Del Bia so that's where the name of the company comes from.

Oh, okay.

Delbia is mom's name and she's still working.

And I started out here probably doing child labor if,

but he says it's all training.

My dad would always say that.

So you're learning something something so it's not really

labor also I guess you know it's really not a fair exchange but mom did feed me

I've worked here and we worked for a lot of my father's friends who are also in the industry and other companies in the industry were our clients. So we manufacture fragrances, flavors, as well as we sell essential oils

and aroma chemicals. So we provide a service to and aromacemicals. Wow.

So we provide a service to different parts of the industry.
