Hi Lauren here. Wow, do I have a story for you. I'm going to talk to you about hopelessness, feeling hopeless. I have been editing a piece of content, which I feel is one of my best yet. But when I've

said that before, it hasn't worked out that way. I've done a piece of content on how to move

through feeling hopeless. And I wanted to chat to you about feeling hopeless before I upload it.

And then two things happened, two strange things, which I guess kind of grounded me,

made me laugh and connected me again with reality.

As we move through life, we have a number of tasks that we need to achieve.

It may be paying the bills, it may be doing the dishes, it may be driving

somebody somewhere and we focus on these tasks and we focus on getting these

tasks done and these tasks can take us away from who we are intrinsically.

We think about the logistics of the task,

we may feel some annoyance, some frustration, some concern.

Animal type emotions, sticky feelings, those egoic feelings,

which take us away from really being present.

And I was thinking about that, how these tasks, I have several of these tasks at the moment,

going to the dentist, et cetera, et cetera, planning events.

And then I thought about beauty and how at times I talked to you and then I

suddenly stop because here so much happens. Today, I've already tried to record this. This is my

second time. I was recording this and there was a flock of cocktoos and they were

majestic and they were beautiful. And I thought, oh, isn't that lovely? Beautiful cockatoos.

And then I noticed the beautiful orange flower out here which is quite brilliant and it's like fire.
