2025, 2006 offseason.

An offseason that we expected to be busy has taken a little while to get going,

but the offseason is getting going. We're doing episodes this offseason when news warrants,

and we do have news that warrants. Reports on Thursday morning that the Washington Nationals are hiring

Blake Butera as manager. He's 33 years old. He will be the youngest manager in

MLB since the immortal Frank Quillacy for the Minnesota Twins in 1972. Blake Boutera,

he has been with the Tampa Bay Ray's organization as either a player, a coach, or an executive

since June 2015. Most recently was
