Cable cut probes launched. What am I talking about? Within these last hours, European governments accused Russia on Tuesday of escalating hybrid attacks on Ukraine's

Western allies.

As Baltic nations investigated whether the cutting of two fiber optic communications cables

in the Baltic Sea was sabotage.

The announcement came without fingerprints, but since then, when I first heard it,

it was the FT headlines out of London very early in this morning. Now it's accusing Russia

in the Reuters summary out of Stockholm and Warsaw, reminding everyone these cables were from Finland to the Baltics,

and I believe from Sweden to the Baltics.

Finland and Sweden are new members of NATO.

The Baltics are members of NATO.

I don't know what their doctrine is about hybrid warfare, Gregory.

I don't know whether to take this as a warning, as a threat, as a spite,

...
