ooh, oh, oh, oh first off, we'll just start off with, we'll introduce ourselves. My name is Joel Waters. I'm a Galala Lakota writer poet.

I started this thing part of this project for Native Reed's project in partnership with the

Red Nation Podcast and the Oakley Writers Society which is what I was part of so we

started off picking our influences as far as you know what best influences are

represents our tribes as the Otetaata Shakowi Nation. And so I'll just go ahead and let Laley introduce us off.

So Laley.

Well, my name is Laley Long Soldier, and I'm also Oglala. I live in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

And I just want to say I'm really, really happy, really honored to be a part of this series,

especially in a way to contribute to the literary works of the Ocettisha Coen.

And so, yeah, I'm happy to be here.

And to kind of get started on the book itself

information on that like is that a picture of a family member of yours?
