of counterinsurgency in Iraq, junior US occupation there, and then went on to solve the highest

0:27.4

levels of government. HR McMaster is on the pot, very, very excited indeed. He is both a soldier

and a scholar. He served in the first Gulf War as a cavalryman. He did a PhD in which he

0:40.5

discussed military and political failures of leadership during the Vietnam War, and then

0:45.8

he became one of the top counterinsurgency advisors to General Petraeus in Baghdad during the

0:51.5

insurgency there. In February 2017, he succeeded Michael Flynn as Donald Trump's National Security

1:00.2

HistoryHit.tv. It is a Netflix for history, simpler as that. It is a place where we have hundreds

1:48.2

of hours of history documentaries, which are a very small subscription, the price of a smart

1:52.2

cappuccino or a frappuccino. This is something you might drink. Anyway, for the price of that every

1:56.8

month, we give you hundreds and hundreds of hours of documentaries and thousands of podcasts

2:02.5

without the ads. That's accessible anywhere in the world, apart from maybe China. But anywhere in
