... If you've ever wondered what an angel looks like, and you really don't know, I'm sitting next to someone who has made a big study of this. His name is Nathan Jones.

And Nathan, introduce yourself. Oh, it's good to be on again, Gary. Thank you so much. Good to have you here.

Well, my name's Nathan Jones. I'm on the evangelism team with Lamb & Line Ministries.

You're probably familiar with our television program, Christ in Prophecy with Dr. David Reagan. I'm the co-host of that program and folks can

ministry produces like yours does in the hopes of getting people excited about the soon return

of Jesus Christ. And that's what we're all about. I'm holding Nathan's book, The Mighty

Angels of Revelation, and we've done another

program with him already. We've talked about angels, angels, angels, angels. There's more

there than you ever thought. But to start today's program, I wanted to ask Nathan, what

does an angel look like? Have you ever really thought about that?

Well, it's amazing. If you ask most Americans

what angels look like, they'll explain these fat little babies and diapers, holding little

bows and arrows, especially around Valentine's Day. Or they'll tell you about Clarence,

some kind of middle-aged, dupist type fellow who's a comedian and he's trying to earn his wings.

Or, you know, they'll go to movies where he's just giant red half dragon-like guy who's

marching around or just all these different concepts that we get from books.

A lot of times for me growing up is I had this book from the 50s and it showed angels

as blonde hair, tall,

they were white guys, they were togas, they had some kind of metal band that floated over their

head. They had these beautiful dove-like wings, but they all looked almost like clones of each other.
