We had late breaking news last or two nights ago, I think, now that Nate Hobbs is going to have a cleanup surgery on his meniscus.

He sort of hinted that maybe he could have played if he needed to, but that this was a preventative measure so that there were not issues down the line.

Now, this is a player who has missed time over the course of his career.

He is not someone who is going to play 17 games, or at least who has played 17 games

every year over the last four years here.

Now, that doesn't, you know, Josh Jacobs was someone who would consistently miss time.

And it's amazing how much healthier you stay when your team is in a playoff

race. And an injury that may have kept you out is now all of a sudden something you're

able to work through. But it sounds like, at least according to the reporting, that

he is not going to miss regular season time.
