Summary

Episode 184: Natalie is back on the mic this week for a beloved solo episode and is ready to get real (reel) about navigating life and loneliness. She unpacks why she’s been distant on social media, as well as her latest love affair with a binge-worthy series and how it inspired her to record this episode. She takes us on a friendship journey all the way back to her kindergarten days and opens up about her own struggles with maintaining and building relationships in her 20's. This episode is a relatable rant, as Natalie would say, filled with remedies for when the lonely feelings strike and a helpful guide to getting back out there—wherever that may be. Thank you so much for being a part of our podcast community! Please be sure to rate, follow, review, and of course, post to your highlight reel. Today's episode is a solo one you guys know that I'm going to be doing a bit more solo episodes or a few more solo episodes which I'm honestly very very excited about because you guys seem to love solo episodes, which

makes me me really happy because I enjoy making them.

0:50.1

And it's kind of my time to just go in a rant, if you know me in real life you know that I'd love

0:55.7

ranting about things like I'm someone that I will get fixated on something and I'll just talk about it for so long

1:02.4

so naturally a

1:03.1

podcast is really great but I will say if you meet me the first few times you're not

1:08.0

going to know that about me it's like the people that really know me they know I like

1:11.5

to talk a lot and I'm very passionate on certain things, but when you first meet me, I'm very reserved, I'm quiet, I am an observer, I'm not the loudest person in the room. So maybe for some people, it's like shocking

1:23.7

that I have a podcast, but not for me.

1:26.4

Anyways, I don't know why I started out with that intro,

1:28.4

but I wanted to kind of explain why I was excited to do more solo episodes

1:31.8

and why I think that this is going to be a really great opportunity for me to just vent and let it all out.

1:37.6

Before we get into like the topic, which I think that you guys are going to really like it because it's a topic that is so relatable to people in

1:44.4

their 20s and also it's a topic that I have been deemed about a lot and it's probably

1:51.7

my most requested topic to talk about.

1:56.4

And I think I'm going to make this a two-part thing where I'm going to bring a friend on

1:59.6

and we're going to talk about making friends as an adult,
