As this search for Nancy Guthrie enters month two, month two, that is hard to believe.

Daughter, Savannah, and family returned to the house today up in the Tucson foothills.

They stood in front of a growing and ever-growing memorial.

They left notes for their mom.

They looked at the flowers.

And for the first time in weeks, this case has really felt less like an investigation

and more like a family's quiet heartbreak playing out in the public.

and her husband, visited Nancy's home and Memorial outside. The memorial, people have been

leaving flowers. There was a woman singing there the other day. It was somber. It was emotional,

and it underscores one thing for sure right now.

The case is more than just an investigation.

It is a family, albeit a very well-known member of this family, living life in limbo, and just,

I don't know how else to say it, literally just being tortured in front of the world as this investigation appears to be creeping forward.
