Now, day 51 in the search for Nancy Guthrie.

She is, of course, the 84-year-old mother of today's show anchor Savannah,

Guthrie, who vanished from her Tucson home in the early morning hours of Sunday, February 1st.

Tonight, the case appears to be entering a bit of a new phase with a direct plea once again from the family.

New questions about what happened before the crime on a couple of specific dates, concerns about leadership of the

investigation with Sheriff Chris Nanos and a growing focus on where the suspect may have been

hiding in plain sight here to break it all down.

Lieutenant Bob Krieger recently retired in Pima County, former SWAT commander.
