Najee Harris has over 1100 yards as a rookie and shows the ability to carry the offense after Ben Roethlisberger retires. That could make it much easier for the next quarterback, which might be exactly what Mike Tomlin and the Pittsburgh Steelers need. That would allow them to avoid big name quarterbacks like Aaron Rodgers and Russell Wilson who would take up a huge chunk of the salary cap, and allow the team to invest in the offensive line, reinforce the defense, while staying competitive and paving the way for the true young quarterback heir to take over the team. Meanwhile, the Steelers will have tough decisions this offseason on which defensive role players they should keep before free agency. Players like Ahkello Witherspoon, Montravious Adams, Terrell Edmunds and Joe Haden are all players the Steelers could offer contracts to stay with the team, but which ones would be most worth it?
