Welcome to episode 57 of Join UpDots and if my voice sounds a little bit

deep today I still can't get rid of the cold that I've been moaning about over the

last few episodes. So bear with me I will fight my way through as we normally do and why

shouldn't I fight my way through when I've got a lady who is quite simply a fighter

day to day she's a lady who's really turned the corner in her life due to focus,

motivation and pure strength of will to achieve huge success. It wasn't always a given that

she would end up where she is today as a best-selling

author, an international speaker, championship motorcycle racer, accomplished business leader, musician,

vocalist, and also somebody who's earned more than 50 podium placements in

male-dominated motorcycle competitions. Now that seems like a wildly

adventurous and fun life to have, well it wasn't always like that, as a young woman our guest was most certainly in a dark place in her life,

dark enough to consider suicide, but as we said by taking a determined approach to stride boldly into the light, she undertook it in 1999, a course

of personal and spiritual development at the Institute for Personal Growth in Quebec, Canada.

And then two years later, she bought herself a motorcycle for pleasure.

And two years later than that started motorcycle racing for sport.
