Summary

By now most of you know Andy May. For those who don't, Andy has a track record for locating and killing mature bucks all over the country regardless of if it's on public or private ground. On this episode, Dan and Andy cover a variety of deer hunting topics including how Andy approaches scouting on his out of state hunts. Andy also dives in to how he translates that scouting in to his actual hunting strategy depending on the time of year he plans to hunt.  The guys also discuss that sometimes you can actually be too mobile and miss an opportunity at a great deer if you are quick to move to a new location when the sign and movement are good. There is a common misconception when it comes to out-of-state hunting that you are only supposed to hunt public ground. That couldn't be further from the truth. Andy and Dan talk about building relationships on non-resident hunts that may lead you to hunt some really great private ground just by knocking on a couple doors.  This episode is packed with a ton of great information about all things whitetail hunting.   Nine Finger Chronicles is Powered by Simplecast Learn more about your ad choices.
