This is Jeff and I'm Liam and this episode's topics, we are going to cover interesting

things from Shimano, including their new Linklide drivetrains and their recent patent related

to wireless electronic shifting slash dropper posts slash suspension.

We're going to look into forestal bikes and what they recently launched as well as the general

common state of ebikes in North America from our perspective. And the give you guys the 101

on some of our recent YouTube videos, which include rear shock upgrades, the new fork from

rock shock and new product from Fox. Oh, and bird spokes, bird spokes as well as finished off

with some listener questions that you guys submitted to us. Yep, so let's dive into it,

Shimano, new things from Shimano, starting off with their Linklide drivetrains.

Yes, what do you think? There's a new one by 10 Dior drivetrain and a new one by 11 XT drivetrain

was some bold claims to be 300% more durable than previous versions.

Yeah, I don't, I'm confused because I never really thought that there was a durability problem

to begin with, but some people have that issue and then there's also ebikes, which they didn't say

at all. It doesn't seem like that these are quote unquote made for ebikes, but it kind of seems

like it would make sense for an ebikes since that's where drivetrain durability is more of an issue.

Yeah, it's definitely leaning towards that especially because it seems like weight is not really

in the equation here. Yeah, this stuff's heavy. It's yeah, it's either a 10 speed Dior or an 11 speed

XT and Drailler cassette shifter and it is not light. It's heavy. Yeah, so it seems like it's

great. Oh, it does say, you know, some ebikes stuff down there.
