about a little Twitter discussion that took place about a week and a half ago. I've annotated it for you. I'm going to walk you

through the evidence behind it. There are a lot of really great points to talk about. You're going to

enjoy it. But it's not just about myeloma. No, no, no. If you're out there listening and you're a

GI oncologist or you're a breast cancer oncologist, you want to listen to because this is also a microcosm of expertise.

This is also about what it means to be an expert oncologist in the modern world and how that so increasingly means making shit up.

I mean, just making shit up is really what is the sinequinon of being an oncologist

who is deemed an expert.

We've got to be very careful.

When is it making it up? When is it the best

available evidence? When is it a nuanced understanding of evidence? Where are the lines? And I think

this discussion allows us to kind of get into these topics. So this is about multiple myeloma.

this person, but I've redacted all of the speakers. It's not really about the individuals here.

It's about the content of their arguments and why those arguments are lacking. And it's also

sort of a commentary about if you were a patient watching this discussion, is this what you would

want to see on social media? And how much can

you talk about a quote-unquote individual case under the auspices of we're just discussing
