Happy Saturday as we get into our episode of what went right, what went wrong against southern Mississippi, Mississippi State with the 3470 victory over Southern Miss Golden Eagles.

And this is kind of the show where we kind of try to unpack what happened in a succinct way with, with USM and Mississippi State.

And so each, each week after the game, we'll kind of have a postgame show like this.

Austin will not be with us today.

He's on the road coming back from Texas.

But Mississippi State gets the win and only gives up seven points in the second half.

And that's with a kind of a garbage time touchdown, giving up a almost a wide open touchdown

for USM with about 20 seconds left.

So for the most part, in the second half, the game really wasn't close.

10 to 10 and halftime.

I think in the first half, or no, was it 10-10-half-time or 17-10-half-time?

Yeah, no, it was, yeah, yeah.

So having, sorry, 13-10 at half, having Mississippi State kind of going into the third quarter,

I think a lot of fans were fairly nervous.

Like, State just was not playing really well early in the game.

And there's a couple different factors with that.

I think one of the things to kind of point out is Mississippi State penalty-wise was terrible today.

14 penalties for 119 yards, two touchdowns call back, one from

Camario Taylor, who did actually have a little bit of a role in today's game, had a kind of

situational moments, convert to fourth down run. And so we're going to look at all these things that kind of made up today's game

and show you what went right for state, what they kind of want to lean on going
