East Africa is the location where I just spent the last month of my life.

I told everyone, including you, before I left that I was heading to Africa, and one of

And that had never occurred to me.

I was lucky enough in 2013 to go to Botswana and go on safari.

My father had scheduled a family trip for his children and he got so sick and he didn't

die until years later, of course, but he got so sick he couldn't go.

He still let the kids go because he wanted us to have the experience with his grandkids.

And I got to see animals and experience things that I'd never experienced.

And I didn't know whether or not I'd get back to Africa again.

Of course, with running seven marathons and seven days on seven continents, one of the
