0:13.1	When I was 17 years old, I got extremely sick.
0:17.1	I woke up one morning the lymph nodes of my neck
0:19.9	were the size of golf balls.

0:22.6	swallowing, difficulty breathing, and my entire body ate. I had a fever. I had a
0:27.3	really difficult time that morning even just making it downstairs to tell my
0:31.1	mother how sick I was. I ended up staying home from school that day
0:34.8	but I never ended up recovering. Over the next few days I seemed to get worse. My
0:41.0	mother took me to the doctor that that I ran my blood work, everything looked normal. The best
0:45.3	they could say is I possibly had Epstein-Bar virus. But there was something seriously wrong with me. They just couldn't
0:50.8	tell what. Over the next few weeks all of my joints
0:53.8	began to ache. The flu like symptoms continued. The swollen and my lymph
0:58.0	nodes moved through my entire body. My armpits were swollen. My groin
1:01.4	lymph nodes were swollen. My entire body was
1:04.1	shutting down. I woke up every morning with a coat on my tongue, my eyes were
1:08.1	swollen shut, they were all crusted together, and I ended up having this incredible thirst.
1:14.0	I got tested for type 2 diabetes.
1:16.0	I was pre-diabetic.
1:18.0	I couldn't regulate my blood sugar level any longer.
