Cognevos I'm Maddie Mitchell and I am your host today and well always because

this is quite frankly my podcast so who else will be hosting it. I hope we're having a wonderful day,

week, month, year. That's just kind of how nice I am. I guess my kindness kind of knows

no balance when you really think about it.

Before we even jump into this week's past the ox and valley and peak, we need to talk about

what's happening presently in this very moment while I record

this episode which is the fact that a submarine has gone missing while looking at

Titanic wreckage if you have been living under a shipwreck, that was a bad joke, but I acknowledge it,

so I'm exempt. If you've been living under a rock and you don't know what's going

on right now presently in this moment, there's like a submersible that this company Ocean Gate

has and it's I guess there's like one of this is one of like four submarines that can

allegedly travel deep enough down to the ocean floor where the

Titanic is which is like 13,000 feet or something insane like that and it's very

much experimental like they they've only done it once or twice before I think, but basically these people spent like a quarter of a million dollars to go on this.

This is just, this is like it's very much giving rich people going into space, you know what I mean?

But now rich people going to the ocean floor. Two things that you could

legitimately not pay me enough money to do by the way,

feel like we have to get that out of the way.

I'm kind of like the reverse of these people that are so filthy rich that they would

spend their money to go into space or to go to the ocean floor,

where you could not pay me any amount of money to go to the ocean floor or go into space,
