Hey guys. Welcome back to Prologs. My name is Mary. Hi, how are you? you how's your summer going how's your mid-july going

we're almost pretty much in the middle of summer and next thing you know this is all going to be over

and it's going to be time for spooky candles and fall leaves and flannel blankets and long jeans again

and i'm actually so excited i'm trying to keep my excitement for summer to be over at a minimum because

I know we have a lot of summer lovers in this little family, this little community, but I can't

lie. It is a gray and gloomy, rainy, gross Sunday afternoon and I am in full sweats. It's like

90 degrees outside. I'm in full sweats. I have three blankets and two

pillows around me. I'm cuddled up in bed. And all that's missing right now is a cup of hot tea,

but I actually think I would start sweating to death if I add one more layer of warmth and

coziness to this situation. How are you? How are things going?

I've been still just so busy.

I don't want to go into detail about it,

but this is actually my 10th attempt at recording this episode

because transparently, mentally, I have been doing not well lately,

like really not well.

And it's something that I'm going to talk to you guys about once things get

better, once I've had a little bit of distance, once I have some perspective and once I've processed.

But yeah, I've been going through a hard time with my health lately. And my brain is a little bit

all over the place. I would not consider myself to be the best version of

myself right now. And I think it's been really hard for me to extend myself grace and compassion

and self-love throughout the last couple of weeks because I have kind of been not well. And I get

really, really hard on myself when I'm going through a difficult time mentally.
