Okay, so given all you just said, how can we know then when disagreement is right or wrong?

What, there's some guidelines you can give us?

Okay, so good question, disagreement being the conceptual, the idea kind, right? And the key phrase I think you use is when, right? So at what point can we use as a general rule? This answer is not universal, but in the vast majority,

70, 80, 90% of the cases, and as we like to say, manager rules for 90% of the

managers 90% of the time.

There are two simple rules.

Before a decision has been made,

disagreement publicly, energetically, and respectfully,

is absolutely encouraged as long as you're

willing to acknowledge other viewpoints. That was something I wasn't very good at when I was 25.

Yeah, that makes sense though. Yeah, that's right. Right. Before the decision,

After a decision, though, disagreement has to be expressed, if it's expressed at all, privately,
