0:15.3	Dr. Laura, I've appreciated you and your advice for many, many years and I certainly hope you can help me today.
0:23.4	My husband and I have been married for 58 years. We have three beautiful children. They are all college graduates successful in their own right.
0:35.4	They've each given us two beautiful grandchildren.
0:38.4	The oldest is our son and then there's two girls.
0:44.4	The two daughters were given equal opportunities as children. We started them both out with dance lessons.
0:55.4	The older one went on to pursue that to become a professional dancer to dance in foreign countries.
1:04.4	They were given a dance at a amusement park and to be on a very competitive and prestigious high school dance team.
1:15.4	She got a lot of attention in taking her to these different events and participating in them.
1:23.4	The younger one who's four and a half years younger than her was given every opportunity. She didn't like dance. She didn't like horseback riding.
1:32.4	She didn't like roller skating. On and on it went. Eventually, I think she became so ambious and frustrated.
1:43.4	She turned to eating. She's always had a weight problem.
1:49.4	She has become extremely, extremely angry with her older sister so much so that it has divided the family. We don't get together for holidays.
2:04.4	We don't get together for anything. And the Easter girls live like 10 miles apart from each other.
2:11.4	The older one is not like the younger one. Obviously she doesn't always. I'm still not understanding why you don't have family holidays.
2:23.4	If the younger one doesn't wish to come, she doesn't have to come. But why do you not have family holidays?
2:28.4	Oh, we do. But it's without her.
2:31.4	Oh, okay. Well, honey, you could produce 40 kids and they're not all going to turn out to be sparkling individuals.
2:38.4	Oh, I know. And I didn't want her to be. And we love her just the same.
2:43.4	But she's I think you missed my point. I think you missed my point. So let me say it in a more blunt way.
2:49.4	You have 40 kids. They're not as wonderful a mommy as you are. You're not going to turn out 40 lovely people.
