Hey guys, so for this week's For The Good of the Order, I'm thinking about my dad as

I often am, but more especially today, yesterday was six years, since he died, he died around

eight o'clock on a Tuesday night, we were alone in the room.

It was, you know, one of the two or three moments of my life, unforgettable.

And just left such a mark on me in a good way, and it was a really beautiful death.

But I was thinking about one of my takeaways during that experience was around my mom,

while he was dying in those couple of weeks, I noticed and wrote down a lot of things

about my mom, because, you know, sure as my dad, it was Booker's Dad, it was GT's Dad,

but it was also Mary Corgan's husband.

I thought I'd share this reading as a way of honoring my growing understanding that in

addition to being my dad, he was her husband.

This is the story of finding all these old letters that my dad wrote my mom when they were

first getting to know each other.

It's one thing to be a man's wife, quite another, to be the mother of his children.
