Hi friends. Welcome to a special edition of the Year of Polygamy Podcast. Today we're not doing

any interviews. We're doing something kind of fun. If you've been listening to the podcast,

you'll know that we are hosting a music contest to do the bumpers of the podcast. The bumpers are

the music that starts at the beginning of the podcast and ends at the podcast.

I've always tried to ask people to some users and listeners to submit their own music.

And I've gotten various critiques over the years. I've been podcasting for a while now.

And we've had several different bumpers for the podcast over the years and one of the

most prominent feedback that I've received is that people really want some new bumper music so

we've hosted this contest friends audience listeners everyone, I'm dying, I need your help.

We got so many good submissions.

I mean so many, it was overwhelming.

So first of all, I want to apologize for those who didn't make it to the final round.

We took a committee of all sorts of Mormons, from ex-Mormon to LDS to Mormon fundamentalists to see

if they could help me narrow down our selections. We got about 16 songs that came in that fit the

parameters and made it to the next round. And now what we've done is narrowed it down to three that our committee

has chosen. So we have three songs and what I'm asking all of you to do is listen to them and then

you're going to vote. Attached to this podcast URL on yourplugmy.com is a little survey where you can

vote for your favorite bumper. I really am struggling because there's so many

good songs. And again, I apologize for those who didn't make it through. I really, really appreciate

you submitting. And I would love to have dinner with each and every one of you. But for now,

we're going to narrow it down to the three. What we're going to do is I'm going to give you their bio information.
