Makiva was a mother of three and an entrepreneur who had overcome incredible odds, but in

the middle of the night, inside her own home, that life was stolen from her in the most shocking

way. At first, it seemed like a random act of violence, a home invasion gone terribly wrong.

But as detectives dug deeper, the truth they uncovered revealed a betrayal so devastating
