We are. It is a really interesting story. It's very unique.

But by my friend Sarah who has suggested cases before from the lovely state of Maryland where she lives.

This is the story of a romantic weekend murder mystery getaway turned real life murder in St. Michael's Maryland.

So before we get into the story, we're going to learn a little bit about St. Michael's Maryland in this week's segment of We Google the City.

St. Michael's is a coastal town in Maryland and as of the 2000 census, there were only around 1100 residents with the average age of the town being 50 years old,

which is really like my kind of people. So St. Michael's was originally thought to be of as a shipbuilding town.

But after the War of 1812, the oyster industry revived the sleepy town. Very interesting facts.

But now they're going to get interesting. So speaking of the War of 1812, the town actually had a really huge role in the War of 1812.

In 1813, so it's 1812 adjacent, there was a large British fleet that moved up the Chesapeake Bay and targeted St. Michael's.
