Hello and welcome to the Tuesday July 17th 2018 edition of Tesla Daily on Official Tesla Podcast.

My name is Rob Maower and today we are talking about a new analysis from Monroe and Associates

on Model 3 profitability.

Tesla stock on Monday closed down 2.75% to $310.10.

This compared to the NASDAQ down 0.26%.

Not a bad day overall, I think, given all of the circumstances.

The trading volume on the day was just about average, so no indicator of a massive

sell-off or anything like that.

Yesterday, Monroe and Associates came out with a new video highlighting that they have finished

their analysis for the model three.

Monroe and Associates is essentially a manufacturing consulting company.

They break down products and then consult with manufacturers on how to improve processes,

improve cost, quality, things like that.

They had previously come out with a sort of preliminary report

on the model three, and they were a little bit critical of it.

Sandy Monroe, who's the namesake of the company,

said that the model three had, quote,

one of the worst fit in finishes I had seen in decades, end quote. On the other hand,

though, he did say a lot of positive things about the drive quality of the model three at that point in time.

So building on that preliminary report, they have now completed their full detailed analysis

of the model three, and they have now gone from being overall pretty negative or neutral at best on the model three to
