Multivitamins are thought to be great additions to your diet, but research shows the opposite may be true.
In fact, one study finds a multivitamin may increase the risk of mortality. Other data shows a multivitamin may have little to no effect on your health.

Dr. Neal Barnard joins βThe Weight Loss Championβ Chuck Carroll to explain the pros and cons of multivitamins and supplements on The Exam Room Podcast.
Topics Discussed
- Warnings about multivitamins
- Multivitamin vs. unhealthy diet and lifestyle
- When a multivitamin can help
- Who should take a multivitamin
- Common nutrients missing in your diet
- And more
