I'm Scotty, I'm an alcoholic, what a privilege to get to speak here tonight, this is pretty

cool.

I wasn't nervous until like five seconds ago.

What it was like, what I did.

So I was born and raised in Oakland, specifically Peanuts, a rich Peabond kid, privileged, rich

Peabond kid, no doubt in my mind, great parents, great upbringing, loving parents, an older

brother that was a complete handful.

So he was kind of distracting them, well I did whatever the fuck I wanted to do and it

was pretty obvious that my mom never loved me more, that's how it was, it was pretty

shitty for her.

Yeah, started, I mean it started with wheat, so I started smoking wheat in seventh grade

and pretty much dick and off school.

Just finding that escapism for some reason, anything to alter my mind, it was such a big

deal to me just to get out of myself for, just to go somewhere else, I don't know why,

but alcohol's the main thing, all right, I've never drank just to enjoy a drink, it was

always trying to get drunk from day one, which was, I don't know how old I was, but finding

the liquor that smelled like almonds, so sweet, my grandparents, liquor cabinet, drinking
