Okay, hi, yeah, I'm Rosemary and I'm an alcoholic, so thank you very much for asking

me to share and it's quite amazing, you know, with all this pandemic and it's all being

in zoom land and, you know, instead of just being able to get speakers from around your

local area, you're able to, like, go around the world looking for speakers and so it's

quite amazing and you suddenly become an international speaker, you can put that on your

resume.

I'm not sure if you can, but yeah, I'm a really grateful member of AA and, you know, it's

still amazing to me today, I've got nine years of sobriety and so it just amazing to me

that alcohol has not passed my lips in nine years because, you know, it just alluded

me for a very, very long time and I really couldn't see myself, not living life without alcohol

because I couldn't see how you could live 24 hours a day without a break from yourself,

I just couldn't see how that was possible and they said, you know, they say living with

somebody else 24 hours a day is really hard, well, helping live with yourself 24 hours a day

and so an alcohol truly gave you that break. And, yeah, so, and I really like what my sponsor says

that, you know, we can share about, you know, recovery and getting some sobriety, not because we've

done a degree, not because we've paid some guru huge amounts of money and not because we've

got it done a course or anything, but it's just because one alcoholic has pulled us out of that
