1:03.9	but yet are facing a real possibility of coming up short in these midterms.
1:08.4	That's the reality the GOP is living in right now, and that's because the political reality
1:12.2	has changed, particularly after the Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, and, of course,
1:17.9	with the recent return of former President Donald Trump to the headlines and on the campaign trail
1:21.8	and the investigations.
1:24.4	Some Republican candidates are clearly aware they both have a problem, both with
1:28.6	Trump and abortion, because you can now see it in their actions on the trail. Take Nevada Republican
1:33.0	gubernatorial nominee Joe Lombardo. He's now saying that if Republicans in Congress passed a federal
1:37.4	ban on abortion, he'd fight it. Then there's New Hampshire Republican Senate nominee Don
1:42.8	Bulldoch. He did a full 180 on Trump's false claims that the 2020 election was stolen from him.
