That's the reality the GOP is living in right now, and that's because the political reality

has changed, particularly after the Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, and, of course,

with the recent return of former President Donald Trump to the headlines and on the campaign trail

and the investigations.

Some Republican candidates are clearly aware they both have a problem, both with

Trump and abortion, because you can now see it in their actions on the trail. Take Nevada Republican

gubernatorial nominee Joe Lombardo. He's now saying that if Republicans in Congress passed a federal

ban on abortion, he'd fight it. Then there's New Hampshire Republican Senate nominee Don

Bulldoch. He did a full 180 on Trump's false claims that the 2020 election was stolen from him.
