We are just three weeks out from the midterm elections, and President Biden appears to be trying

to turn back the clock to earlier this summer when Democratic voters were riding a wave

of midterm enthusiasm over the backlash to the Supreme Court's overturning Roe v. Wade.

This afternoon, speaking at what the White House called a political event, Biden pledged to

fast-track an abortion rights bill of Democrats hold on to control of Congress, pleading with

voters to remember how fired up they were just a few months ago.
