which party is going to control the House in January. We don't know what the final balance of power

will be in the Senate. We don't know how the latest round of intra-party warfare is going to play out

in the Republican Party, and we don't know how either party will react to the messages being sent by frustrated voters.

But here is what we do know at this hour. In a remarkable turn of events, Democrats will keep

control of the Senate after Arizona was called for Democrat Mark Kelly and Nevada was called

for Democrat Catherine Cortez-Mastow over the weekend. That gives Democrats at least 50 Senate seats with the possibility of adding one more,

depending on what happens in the Georgia runoff.

Meanwhile, Republicans appear to be inching closer to taking back control of the House,

albeit with a historically small majority.

The party picked up a seat in Oregon earlier today that is currently held by a Democrat.
