We begin today with President Biden's historic trip to an active war zone as the administration

redoubled its support for Ukraine one year after

the Russian invasion. This morning, President Biden made an unannounced visit to Kiev, becoming the first

U.S. president in modern history to visit a war zone that did not have an active American military

presence. With President Zelensky at his side, President Biden reaffirmed U.S. support for Ukraine

while announcing an additional $500 million in military aid.

For all the disagreement we have in our Congress on some issues, there is a significant agreement

on support for Ukraine because this is so much larger than just Ukraine.
