So listen if you're like me if you eat sleep and breathe politics like I do today was kind of one of those days that you just didn't want to end it was very joyful and in the course of a presidential campaign you only get so many big moments. For the Harris campaign

today was one of those moments because today Vice President Harris announced as

you all know by now Minnesota Governor Tim Walls will will be her running mate. And just a

couple of hours ago in Philadelphia in front of a raucous crowd of more than 12,000

people, she welcomed him to the ticket and introduced him to the country.

Since the day that I announced my candidacy, I set out to find a partner who can help build this brighter future.

A leader who will help unite our nation and move us forward.

So Pennsylvania I'm here today because I found such a leader.

Governor. Governor Tim Waltz of the Great State of Minnesota.

Thank you Madam Vice President for the trust you put in me, but maybe more so.

Thank you for bringing back the joy.

So we got 91 days. My God that's easy. We'll sleep when we're dead.

We'll sleep when we're dead. Over those next 91 days and every day in the White House all

have Vice President Harris's back every single day and we'll have yours.

I mean we'll sleep when you're dead is probably one of my favorite lines

in a speech with many good lines. But to really understand how significant

what you just saw is we kind of have to go back in time just about three weeks

because three weeks

ago Kamal Harris was the vice presidential running mate three weeks ago Tim

Wall's was the jovial governor of Minnesota who appeared on television every now and then, but he wasn't a household name or a

Tik-Tok phenon, and he certainly wasn't on anyone's shortlist for anything.

Now here we are.
