The President of the United States brings force his budget for 2024.

Here to comment, Professor Richard Epstein of the Hoover Institution, he teaches law at NYU

in the University of Chicago.

I go to the editorial page of the Wall Street Journal to hear the comments about the President's

budget.

In part, the President's 6.89 trillion proposal is a political document that sets up his

re-election campaign.

It's spending and tax proposals were rejected in the last Congress under Democratic majorities

and have no chance of passing with a GOP House.

But the budget shows where Mr. Biden wants to take the country if he wins his second

term.

I entirely agree with that paragraph and politics are part of taxes, your measure of the

President's ambition, not to actually pass this budget, but to have a case to make to
