Okay, I want to open today's show by asking you a very simple question.

How many times have you watched it?

How many times have you watched the Quinton-Byfield goal from last night?

It's okay if it's like more than a dozen because that's me going back to life watching it

live and then again and again and again and again and again and again and trying to figure

out okay what does it remind me of?

Who does it remind me of?

Is there a little yager in there?

Is there some Lindros in there as well?

Is there some Mario in there? notice I'm focusing mainly on big

players that can move their feet is there some Jean Bellavo in there is there some

Pete Mahavich in there as well that was was spectacular last night, ladies and gentlemen. A candidate for a goal of the year, certainly. I don't want to say that that is like the official coming out party for Quinton Biefield.

He's had a really good season so far this year, but that was one of those plant-year flag moments

for Quinton Biefield and the Los Angeles Kings.

I want to get to the rest of the show here in a couple of minutes, but I just want to park some time at the top of the show here to talk about how great that goal was last night by Quinn Byfield. And to me, the reaction at the end was a fascinating one.

On the one hand, he tried to, it was so weird,

he tried to play it off like, oh yeah, I've been in the end zone before,

no problem.

But then there was a part of looking at Byfield last night where it almost seemed like he was a little bit surprised at what he was able to pull off last night.

Those moves were spectacular and that is done by a large man with very

soft hands doing things that a lot of hockey players cannot do both with his hands and
