They're in the first quarter right now. I can only see a bare wall behind Rippie, so I don't know what he's doing otherwise. But that's where we're at. That's the setup as he is in the Metroplex. I am here in Oxford, obviously. Ole Miss 27, Liberty 14. Have you enjoyed the day of football on your couch so far? Yeah, I didn't catch much of the other early slate. I mean, I had some rotating stuff going on on the computer, but I kind of got back in the swing of things with kind of the pains and groans that nobody cares about of like covering games with the whole. So I was clearly locked in the Ole Miss game, did some writing at halftime. But that's the first time in a while where I've written something and had to erase it and change it based on what happened at the game. And I forgot just the terrible annoyance that that can be doing the observations that are up on the board right now. But yeah, it was, it was, I guess, as enjoyable as possible to watch Old Miss and Liberty play. It was fine. Yeah, you know, I did not start writing at all

until about 10 minutes left in the game because I was planning to write a complete defensive

story after the way they were getting out of getting after Malik Willis.

Sorry, they, they sack him nine times on the day. Sam Williams gets a couple himself. He

now has the Ole Miss modern day sack record of 10 and a half for

a season and there's still four games remaining, assuming that he plays in the bowl game. So a big

year from that standpoint for Sam Williams, who's trying to make a lot of money right now,

get consistent and go in the NFL draft here soon. He did come off the field kind of late with a what would appear to be favoring his left hip. So we'll see if we get any information on that. See what anybody says about the hip injury there for Williams. But I mean, they just attacked Malik Willis. We're going to be kind of a lot of the place. I've got some stuff about the game, stuff about other stuff as well. But, you know, early on, old miss Sacksville was four times

in the first 16 plays. They have the fifth sack on the first play of the second quarter. They get

out to a 17-0 lead during this stretch. And even in the second half, as Liberty was able to score a

couple drives to open the half. They were able to really run the ball between the tackles. We'll talk about that more as we go on. But the pass rush between Williams and Ced

Johnson, they annihilated Willis to the point that he was really ineffective and kind of a

non-factor throwing the football. When I look at it here, I mean, him 16 of 25, he was 64 percent, but that's only

173 yards. He throws three interceptions, including the game clincher as they were trying to cut it
