and radio. A new month is upon us, ladies and gentlemen, and it's time for a new perspective

on life and indeed on the world. With any luck, the coronavirus infection rates are on a downward

trend. Hospital admissions are also down and in time the numbers of people dying will

also start to diminish all the

better for the government to start listening to the experts those brilliant well-educated

and highly trained individuals who are now examining the evidence at coming to

conclusions after all that's what the government's been doing right today the Institute

for Fiscal Studies says the cost of lost schooling on a generation of children

will be a staggering

350 billion pounds. Only yesterday the Mental Health Foundation revealed that more than a quarter

of teenagers are showing symptoms of anxiety and depression. I've been talking about this for weeks

and weeks and weeks. Finally, somebody has told the scientists to start actually looking into it again.

For heaven's sake, I mean, after all, over the weekend, I've received dozens of messages from parents who are worried about their own children, who they are seeing becoming more and more withdrawn and isolated. We'll be addressing this all throughout the show this morning, but we will also be checking in with Lee Anderson,

Tory MP for Ashfield to get his take on the ongoing lockdown immigration controls and when we reopen the schools.
