Today in the Marshall Pruitt podcast, we have an episode of my racing life and career.

This is done with the amazing Bill Oberlin who just beat my brother, not my brother,

we're not related, but Scott Pruitt is like family.

Just beat Scott's longstanding record of 60 top tier North American sports

car wins, all-time record holder until Bill recently eclipsed this. And now as the new record

holder figured, let's sit down and do a bit of a deep dive in our longer form, My Racing Life and Career

format.

And with this, we framed it around the 61 wins, for sure.

But having known Bill for a little while, having had the good opportunity to run Bill in one race,

when I put together a factory diesel program for BMW at the 25 hours of Thunder

Hill having the great Bill Oberlin as one of my drivers being terrified knowing how exacting

he is, how nothing less than perfection is where he focuses his mind in the fact that he was the kindest, most supportive, most humane person I could have

imagined.

It just shocked me because his reputation, not as anything negative or bad, but just

as someone who was an unflinching in his drive for excellence,

all I found was a guy who was super warm and wanted to help me make the most out of the team,

very much part of the Bill Oberlin's story. Yes, I can drive the car and do nothing more, but maybe I can lend some of my experience

to help you do things a little bit better or offer some different ways of thinking about doing

things.

His influence just in testing was massive.

So having gotten to know Bill and his dad, so fun to be able to just capture
