We've already been here, been here for about 10 days now.

Finally, the real month of May is upon us.

And even that sounds a little strange to say although what we're

not too far a couple more years and we'll be at a full decade of indie grand prix preceding the

indy 500 however you want to slice it up whether you're a newish fan who's only known the month of May with the indie GP

included, or some of us who've been around for a little while and are still getting used to

this thing right before practice starts. We're here. We're finally here. It is Monday evening. It is 6.12

p.m. My absolutely incredible wife did a amazing job at physical therapy today.

92 degrees.

While there was some air conditioning inside, it didn't condition it down to much below 92.

So amazing work by her before we got on the road today, actually well before.

Early this morning was so happy to confirm that what sure is heck looked like vaporware for a long, long time.

Israel, top gun racing.

Yes, boys, yes, Israel. Top gun racing. Yes, boys.

Yes, girls.

Top gun racing hit the good old motor racing circuit.

Went around in some circles at Worldwide Technologies Raceway, aka Gateway.

Did go around.

From what I understand, they didn't do a ton of laps.

Nonetheless, they did some lapse, period.
