I've never attempted to hide the fact that I hold IMSA champion, Jowal Barbosa, in incredibly high regard,

not just for his talent as a motor racing driver, as a supreme professional race car driver,

but also as a person, just known for someone with a very big heart,

a lot of care inside of our friend from Portugal, had a pretty rough go of it the last year.

There's some things on the home front that were kept, for the most part, fairly silent.

And throughout the 2020 season, we saw that his performance started

to wane a little bit at the jdc miller motorsports team where he shared that number five

Mustang sampling Cadillac with our pal Sebastian Bourday somewhere around mid-season

the mutual parting of the ways between both sides and Jowal,

as we're so happy to report,

and as some of you hopefully know,

he's now doing a full season

with Sean Creech Motorsports in IMSA

in their LMP3 category.
