Turn to John chapter 8. I want to talk to you today about moving into friendship with God and

0:30.5

how many know that you used to be a sinner?

0:35.9

You used to be a sinner if you know Jesus now that when you received Jesus, you became a saint

0:43.6

or as second Corinthians 517 says that you are a new creation. That word new means prototype. You are

0:51.6

a prototype never before created. You are a creature that has never graced the planet before.

0:56.4

That's why Peter said you were strangers and aliens. You are a creature that has never

1:02.4

before graced the planet. And Paul said while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us, while we were

1:56.5

if you continue in my word, then you are truly my disciples and you will know the truth and the truth

2:02.3

will make you free. They answered Him and said, we are Abraham's descendants. We have never been

2:08.0

enslaved to anyone. How is it that you say you will become free? And Jesus answered them saying,

2:13.5

truly, I say to you, everyone who commits sin is a slave to sin. The slave does not remain in the

2:21.4

house forever. The son, the son does remain forever. If the son set you free, you'll be free,
